FAQ

What areas of law does your firm handle?

Our law firm in Lausanne provides legal services in a wide range of fields, including labour law, criminal law, juvenile criminal law, contract law, family law, inheritance law, insurance law, civil liability, road traffic law, immigration law, and construction law. We assist both individuals and companies throughout Switzerland.

How can I book an appointment with a lawyer?

You can contact us by phone, email, or through our online form. A member of our team will schedule a meeting—either at our office in Lausanne, by videoconference, or by telephone—depending on your needs and the urgency of your case.

How do you determine your legal fees?

Our fees depend on the time required, the complexity of the case, and your financial situation. Clients with limited means may apply for Swiss legal aid, and clients with legal protection insurance are often fully or partially covered. We provide transparent fee information from the outset.

Do you offer a free initial consultation?

No. The first consultation usually takes place after we have conducted an initial review of your documents and situation. Depending on the case, the initial meeting may be billed at a fixed rate.

Do you work across Switzerland?

Yes. Although we are based in Lausanne, our lawyers represent clients throughout Romandy (French-speaking Switzerland) and before all Swiss courts and authorities. We also collaborate with partner law firms in Switzerland and abroad.

Can you handle urgent legal matters?

Yes. Our firm can take on urgent cases, particularly in criminal law, dismissal situations, and protective measures in family matters. We strive to respond quickly when immediate legal action is required.

How will my legal case be handled?
  1. You describe your situation and send the relevant documents.

  2. We perform an initial assessment before the first meeting.

  3. Together, we define a strategy based on success prospects and your budget.

  4. We carry out the agreed steps, with your approval at each stage.

  5. We maintain regular communication and provide ongoing updates.

Do you offer online consultations?

Yes. We provide secure videoconference consultations (Teams, Zoom) for clients in Switzerland and abroad.

How do you ensure confidentiality?

All exchanges are protected by attorney–client privilege, and your data is stored in Switzerland in compliance with Swiss privacy regulations.

Can I receive legal advice in English or German?

Yes. Our team works in French, English, and German, allowing us to assist international clients seeking legal advice in Switzerland.

How long does a legal procedure take?

Timeframes vary depending on the type of case. Some matters can be resolved within weeks or months, while formal court proceedings may last longer. We provide realistic timelines based on our experience.

Do you provide one-off legal advice?

Yes. Our lawyers also offer standalone consultations if you need targeted legal advice without opening a long-term case file.

How should I prepare for my first meeting with a lawyer?

Before the consultation, we will let you know which documents to provide. Generally, we recommend bringing all relevant materials (contracts, correspondence, decisions, etc.) to allow for a precise analysis of your legal situation.

Are communications with your lawyers confidential?

Yes. All communications are strictly confidential and protected by Swiss attorney–client privilege.
